Worn Revolution does Art For Life

I found my self in  WORN REVOLUTION  at Russell Simmons annual "Art For Life" fundraiser party. I found myself amongst individuals like Star Jones,Vanessa Williams,Governor Paterson, and of course the one and only Russell Simmons. Although different people from different places were scattered about in endless fabrics developed in the most exotic countries and sewn with the hottest labels. I found myself in WORN REVOLUTION  looking just as fab in a recycled vintage piece. I graced the crowd in my hand dyed shirt assembled with a 1940's embellishment gracing the back of WORN REVOLUTION's  open back slip inspired cowl neck shirt. Blending in with the major names of fashion my shirt was the star of the night. I have been spotted in WORN at one of New York's most exclusive summer events.

As I gathered with New York's upper crust to support the preservation of the arts for the youth. It made me realize what WORN REVOLUTION symbolizes:  Taking  old things and renewing them. Bringing the past towards the future allows  an individual  a sense of self. Its amazing what standing in a crowd of privileged individuals can make ya think about.  Viva la WORN
